Job Title: Associate Controller

Department/Section : Controlling

Reports to : Manager, North hub

I. Position Summary

This position is responsible for assisting all aspects of controlling and management reporting function across North China, IS & RI Divisions and certain GCN Controlling functions. Working closely with team members, Finance SSC and being as Business Partner for Business Line/Service Lines, will develop further the controller function and management reporting to HQs Germany as well. Main task will be operational controlling, order controlling, investment controlling, and business analysis for new business initiatives, budgeting and forecasting as well as quality assurance within the responsibility.

II. Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in daily Operational Controlling tasks, Order Controlling tasks in responsible legal entities and business lines (55%)

2. Assist the yearly Budget and Planning process, preparing Forecasts and management reporting to German HQs (20%)

3. Assist in Investment Controlling for investment approval (capex, new business initiatives), post investment controlling (10%)

4. Assist in internal control initiatives to ensure compliance with corporate policies as well as working with senior executives and finance managers to support corporate planning (10%)

5. Any other ad hoc assignments. (5%)

III. Job Requirements

1. Financial & Accounting education background (bachelor or above);

2. Excellent fresh graduate or 1-2 years’ financial analysis or controlling related working experience, being a team leader role in MNC;

3. Good knowledge of SAP system is preferred

4. Good problem solving skill, logical & comprehensive thinking ability, solid analytical skill;

5. Pro-active & cross-cultural communication skills

6. Diligent and self-motivator, quick learner, team player;

7. Excellent in English, both in written and spoken.
